Ahhh.. no no. Imagine there is a customer that we need to bill
for his IP-traffic (mainly SMTP). Although he is not connected to
your own network but through a different ISP, you create a DNS host
with an alias interface on your MTA and tell him to use this
DNS name as a SMTP-host only. In case he takes a guess, he could easily
find our that using a different IP address (the primary one of the MTA)
works fine as well and doesn't get accounted.
That's why I'd like to run a 2nd instance that has host_accept_relay
set to the customer's IP while the main exim-installation has not.
That should work, I guess :-)
In case there's a better way I am really happy 'bout every suggestion.
