I have the following problem:
We had a system crash last night. Exim was unable to do resolve some user
names and so messages bounced with "unknown local part", that is an
permanent error.
In smail there was an "errors"-directory these mails came in and I could
restore the mails by copying them into the "input"-directory - successfully
delivered.
