Since this is the Exim users' list, the answer is:
Read the documentation with respect to the exim_dumpdb utility.
This assumes an awful lot about your installation, and if you're just
asking about dbs in general, you're better off directing your question
at a more appropriate channel (like say the Perl FAQ).
