Subject: [Exim] exim 3.22 with MySQL patch and relay control
Hello,

My system is running Debian 2.2. I recomplied exim 3.22 with MySQL virtual
domain support and I also added options in the exim.conf file for relay
control using MySQL.

The problem is that exim is NOT checking if a host is permitted to relay or
not, it accepts mail from everyone. I monitored MySQL's log file and there
was no query checking if sender's IP address is in the base. I did a test
running exim with the following command - exim.mysql -d -bh 10.0.0.1 and
simulating an SMTP session with lots of debug information showing what is
being checked. With this command exim did relay checking and refused the
host as it wasn't in the base. Then I added the host and tried again and
exim accepted the host.

Any idea what is wrong and why exim is not performing relay control?

Thanks!
