[Exim] smart host

I added the following to the route section in the exim.conf file and i get
this error when i run mail.

  -smart_route:
    driver =3D domainlist
    transport =3D remote_smtp
    route_list =3D * mail.mindspring.com bydns_a

how can i fix this?
