Hello!
One problem. Somebody sent an e-mail to one of my clients.
Firstly I looked $ mailq and it seemed to be OK. After a while I realized
that there is space before address:
1d 67K 157xCU-0007US-00 <> *** frozen *** [all other messages are listed
and handled normally]
user@???
1d 31K 157Xj1-0007by-00 <> *** frozen ***
user@???
^^^^ here is
Afterwards, looking into /var/spool/main, I saw:
2001-06-30 09:27:32 directing failed for user@???: unknown
local-part "\240user" in domain "otherdomain.pl"
*** Frozen (delivery error message)
I decided to add new address:
exim -Mar msg_id user@???
And delete old address:
# exim -Mmd 157Xj1-0007by-00 \240user@???
Message 157Xj1-0007by-00 - error while marking as delivered:
240user@??? is not a recipient: message not updated
# exim -Mmd 157Xj1-0007by-00
"\240user@???"
Message 157Xj1-0007by-00 - error while marking as delivered:
\240user@??? is not a recipient: message not updated
How can I remove that recipient with non-printing characters in address?
System: Linux Debian, exim 3.22 with some minor patches.
Robert
