Hello All!
Recently an employee left our organisation and his acccount was closed. Apparently he had subscribed to a
few mailing lists, which he didn't unsubscribe when he left.
Now those mails (rather bounced mails are residing on the mail queue). When I try to force deliver them I get
the following error:
delivering message 15FDxg-0003w8-00
LOG: 0 MAIN
Unfrozen by forced delivery
LOG: 0 MAIN
** rocke2@???: all relevant MX records point to non-existent hosts: it appears that the DNS
operator for this domain has installed an invalid MX record with an IP address instead of a domain name on
the right hand side
LOG: 0 MAIN
Frozen (delivery error message)
When I query for the MX , I get:
mx norman.bay9.com
norman.bay9.com MX 10 209.208.199.131
!!! norman.bay9.com MX host 209.208.199.131 has illegal name
So, apparently this guy doen't wan't to receive the bounced mails. What I can do is:
1. Stop all mails coming to someguy@???, altogether, i.e., refuse at the smtp time, rather than the
delivery time.
or
2. Stop all mails coming from rocke2@??? altogether.
I tried by putting an entry like:
sender_reject_recipients = rocke2@???
But somehow doesn't seem to work.
Pls help me as to how I should configure either of the options. Since a lot of such mails are queued up on my
mail server.
All help appreciated.
Thanks and Regards,
Sanvir Jham
