I'm attempting to compile exim-3.22 on SCO Unix 3.2v5.0.5 and am
running into a bit of a problem.
When I am attempting to make the program, I get the error:
[sco] ttyp0: /src/exim-3.22 # make
`Makefile' is up to date.
don't know how to make store.c (bu42).
*** Error code 1 (bu21)
I can see a store.c in the /src directory I can see store.o
referenced in the generated /build-SCO_SV-i386/Makefile but I can't
figure out why it apparently doesnt seem to know how to build that
part of the modules.
I'm not quite sure I understand how all the different makefiles
relate to each other to know where it is actually having a problem.
I would assume that someone else has run into this as this is a
pretty stock system with gcc loaded.
For the time being, I would even settle for a set of binaries for SCO
5.0.5 if they are available somewhere.
System Specifics:
SCO Unix 3.2v5.0.5
GCC v2.5.8
Currently running Smail-3.2.0.111
