RedHat separates out "development-type" parts of a package from "runtime"
parts. As such, the shared libs for db may be in the "db1" rpm, whereas
the headers and static libs may be in "db1-devel".

Yup - you may be able to find exim in the "RedHat powertools" if you don't
want to roll-your-own (ie you want an easy way out ;).
