Hi,

maybe this is what you need:

# transport
cyrus_lmtp:
   driver             = lmtp
   batch              = domain
   command            = /usr/cyrus/bin/deliver -l
   user               = mail
   group              = mail
   envelope_to_add    = true
   return_path_add    = false
   delivery_date_add  = true
   timeout            = 1h


# director
localuser:
   driver        = localuser
   transport     = cyrus_lmtp


This works with Cyrus-IMAP 2.0.x. The Exim-docs will tell you the rest
