I have been asked by the boss to prepare a "electronic board"
where one can send a message, together with a number of
attachments, that would be put in an http|smb-accessible directory
while text part would be sent to a regular mailman list. the idea
was to set an address that go to a pipe director, passing the
message to metamail, that would split the file, while the output of
this script would go to another program that will sent the text part
to a list, so avoiding to send big attachment to 95% of people
uninterested. Until this quite ok. But how to restrict this capability
to just some people ? How, without restricting to any, allow to post
only to people that a) are in a specific list and b1) use
ASMTP or b2) send the message from certains IP (That are
not the ones that allow relay but just a subset) *A am not very
good at databse management ... so i ask for help)
