This is a silly suggestion, but you *have* put mysql_servers in the
right place in the config, haven't you? (I assume you have, since you
use it on a different system). Have you tried
exim -d9 -bV
to make it read its configuration with debugging? That doesn't actually
show much, but it will confirm the Exim version number, at least. Hmm.
Maybe I should make some future release output debugging lines that say
what optional bits are included. I've made a note of that.
