[Exim] Rejected message.

We're using Exim 3.22 configured to use SMTP AUTH and last
night's logs show (with some details munged to protect the guilty):

2001-05-03 11:20:26 VRFY rejected H=[192.168.0.0]: user@domain

Am I right to think this means that someone at that IP address
attempted to send a message through us as that user but failed
the AUTH ?
