Subject: Re: [Exim] connection limit reached....
Philip, thank you for your responce... I still don't understand why Exim
isn't sending mail in a timely fashion.... The only entry in the configure
file was serialize_hosts = *, which I have removed. Now I'm getting the
following:

2001-04-08 17:34:24 14lamV-0001Uu-00 == scott@??? T=remote_smtp
defer (-44): retry time not reached for any host
2001-04-08 17:34:24 14lb6A-0002sv-00 == brett_lefebvre@???
routing defer (-42): retry time not reached
2001-04-08 17:34:24 14lcam-0000Ln-00 == gwenn@??? T=remote_smtp
defer (-44): retry time not reached for any host
2001-04-08 17:34:24 14lcam-0000Ln-00 == scott@??? T=remote_smtp
defer (-44): retry time not reached for any host
2001-04-08 17:34:24 14lcam-0000Ln-00 == rob@??? T=remote_smtp defer
(-44): retry time not reached for any host
2001-04-08 17:34:24 14lvxy-0004KO-00 == jlosito@??? routing
defer (-42): retry time not reached

Sometimes it will send a few messages, then stop. If I do an Exim -R
123@??? to try to get it started, it seems eager to send a couple then
stops and says: T=remote_smtp defer (-1): domain matches
queue_smtp_domains, or -odqs set. Are there any other commands to get the
entire queue in motion? Any other help would be great... Also, I'm running
version 3.22.

Many thanks....

Jeff
