Subject: [Exim] NFS and require_files
Hi!

After delivering message to local user I would like to let Exim decide if
the user exists. :) I would like to do it by testing access to the
user's maildir. Ok, but I'm using NFS and I don't want messages to be
dropped or rejected if there was some problem and my NFS devices aren't
mounted. I know it is impossible to decide whether the user exists and it
is dangerous for spool to keep deferred messages directed to unknown
local recipients... So I've got one simple question: is there any possibility
to implement scenario specified bellow:

- if /var/mail mounted -y-> exists /var/mail/recipient/Inbox -y-> inject!
                       -n-> (next step)                      -n-> reject!

[ next step, cannot access NFS mount, using LDAP ]

- ask LDAP whether local user exists -y-> keep in spool
                     -n-> reject!

I'll appreciate any reply :>

Cheers,
Pawel
