[Exim] forcing uid for a check

Hello all,

I do a directory existence check in smartuser-based director
(require_files). Can I force a check to be made under a specific uid? My
daemon by default runs under "exim" user, while directory is owned by
another user.
I tried giving parameter "user=" to transport but it didn't help.

Currently the only solution I know to go around this is to change
exim_user to root.
