[Exim] A bit of help please ...ASAP?

Hi all,

    I have some scripts on my mail hubs which automatically remove older
mails from the queue if they're being 'problem' deliveries. This works fine
... except when I try to send them later with "exim -M <messageID>" they end
up going to a local hub which is currently down for upgrade (as this option
ignores the queue_remote_domains entries in exim's configure).

Is there a method of delivery which acts normally, but still accepts the
messageID as an argument?
