Hi,
I got back to work this morning and found that we had a large (~100) number
of exims apparently doing nothing much. Some of them 2 days old.
I did an exiwhat and found that they claimed to be handling connections
eg
4285 handling incoming connection from shaun.pogo.com [63.114.74.57]
lsof tells me that the sockets are "Idle" whatever that means ...
netstat doesn't show these connections
I have in my configure:
smtp_receive_timeout = 150s
Can anyone explain what's going on?
