No problems - I just wanted to make an RPM of what I use so I can put the
exact same versions on other machines. . I changed the EXIM_UID to 79 and
the EXIM_GID to 79 - turned on perl. Making the RPM wasn't that bad.
BTW for some reason RH just updated db3-devel RPM to 3.1.17-5
My biggest problem now is that I am new at this. I'm starting without any
sendmail background. I would love to see an example config file that runs
an internal network mydomain.privatenetwork but mails external as
mydomain.com - and uses fetchmail to inject received mail from mydomain.com
Most of the documentation assumes knowledge of sendmail - wish the exim
O'Reilly book was already out.

I just compiled Exim 3.22 on Red Hat 7.0 without any problems, after
installing the db3-devel RPM. What sort of issues did you experience?
