That being your smarthost I expect? Take a look at this header from your mail ...

I suggest you set the user-domain field in your pine settings (S - settings, C
- configure - it's the second field). Exim won't monkey with a set envelope
(unless you have some weirdness in rewriting rules and such)
You could also set
primary_hostname = localhost.example.com
qualify_domain = wdn.com
in your exim config (helps when you use something like /bin/mail or elm which
can't set the envelope sender)
Try
