After a session with -d9, I now understand what has been happening. I
had local_interfaces = 212.126.200.57 set, so localhost == 127.0.0.1
wasn't recognized as a local IP address. After changing
local_interfaces = 212.126.200.57:127.0.0.1, the router now works as
intended. This is clearly documented with the local_interfaces option,
so I am again the fool ;)
