[Exim] Aliases Database!

I am new to sendmail and I can't find any information on using the
/etc/aliases file with exim. I have a previous sendmail aliases file I
was wondering if I have to do anything like newaliases with Exim or not
?
If I do have to ? what is the command and where can I find some more
information on this subject.
