Sorry for that newbie- and maybe often asked question.
I am running a debian system (potato) and trying to configure my mail-system
for the 1st time. I have no experience whith sendmail, smail or any other
MTA. My e-mail is stored on a remote server (gmx.de).
I ran eximconfig but it isn't very intuitive. Should I use option 2 -
'Internet site using smarthost' as recommended by eximconfig or option 3 -
'satellite system' which seems more suitable in my opinion?
And I am not really sure what to answer to the following questions.
Is there more comprehensive information about eximconfig available? Or maybe
someone can tell me an easy on configuring exim.
Also, do I need to run fetchmail and procmail additional to exim?
