For roaming users, yes. However, pop before smtp has the advantage of working
across a whole lot more clients (try explaining to someone using a win 3.1
mailer ... yeah, they do exist) and is also easier to set up for the user (he's
just got to check his pop box before relaying instead of accepting certificates
etc)
