No - definitely not. A framework for handling message checking etc is
the way to go - tie it to a virus scanner and you degrade both tools.

This breaks cryptographic signatures and may be illegal in some
domains. Again it is not a job for an MTA - which should be
transporting data intact and not modifying it. However if an effective
useful efficient framework for content mangling can be added it would
be worth a look....
