Subject: [Exim] Delivering local mail fails
Hi,
Sorry if this is a newbie question but I couldn't solve my problem
with help of the manual and the FAQ + mailin-list-archives.

I've problems delivering local mails. When calling exim -v -bt -d9 georg
exim tells me that it cannot stat the home directory of georg
(permissions of /home/georg: drwxr-x---, georg.georg), there's no .forward
and no .procmailrc file. I've tried to set the directory to 777, but this
doesn't make any difference. ignore_eacces doesn't have any effect.
require_files =
${local_part}:+${home}:+${home}/.procmailrc:+/usr/bin/procmail

I'm using Debian potato 2.2,
Exim version 3.12 #1 built 30-Apr-2000 01:07:30if the forward file
Copyright (c) University of Cambridge 1999

Here's the output of the above-mentioned exim command:
