I have the following messages in the mainlog and 2 mail messages that won't
get sent out of the queue addresses to 2 accounts on a remote mail server. I
have tried to force delivery with -M because I know for a fact that the
destination server is back up and running fine now but Exim keeps giving me
these same messages and the mail is still in the queue:
2000-11-02 11:02:05 13qlK0-0003y8-00 Remote host aggie.pw.usda.gov
[147.49.50.52] closed connection after initial connection
2000-11-02 11:02:05 13qlK0-0003y8-00 == root@??? T=remote_smtp
defer (-19): Remote host aggie.pw.usda.gov [147.49.50.52] closed connection
after initial connection
Any help would be most appreciated. I'm still learning Exim so if you feel
like being verbose go ahead.
