I'm using 3.167 on my main personal mailservers now, and have thrown a
few thousand emails through it.
Only my backup MX and the one test mail to/from a friendly person with
sendmail pro set up with TLS have used the TLS stuff, but it does
appear to work with no problems with exim as client/server to exim and
sendmail.
