1. If you are running an MTA without access to the documentation, then my
advice would be: DON'T.
2. If the system you are running has Exim (or any MTA) installed without
any documentation, I would junk it for a system that is better
maintained.
3. The Exim documentation is online via
www.exim.org.
4. What is a "backup mail domain"? I don't understand the term.
