I am new to this list - I just subscribed - and I think I focus a technical
problem that may already have been posted
for more than one time. It may though still be a problem, cause dejanews
mentions not only about twenty
inquiries but also a lot of more or less philosophic answers, which don't
help.
I installed the exim 3.16 release on a suse 7.0 professional, after deleting
all the sendmail stuff. By the way, there is a
good assistance documentation for this in
http://www.world-email.cx/mailserver/exim
It is in german language, I must admit, but you may use
http://babelfish.altavista.com to get it translated. You can live with
the way it translates, at least it helps with some tricky stuff, which you
may want to configure.
The installation went fine so far, but I still can't get beyond that error
message.
Can someone give me some practical help with Suse 7.0 or describe me what I
have to do to get rid of this message and
work with exim?
