[Exim] pop authorization to mysql

It might not be proper that I address this question to this mailing list.Any
help is greatly appreciate here.

How could I forward POP authorization to MySQL server? Right now the POP3
access is authorized through /etc/shadow file. Can I change this
authorization to go thought database server such as mysql server? If it can
be done, how to do it?
