No, that wouldn't work because :blackhole: isn't an item, it's just a
way of saying "don't cause an error if there are no items". However,
full.name: username, username
would work. It's generated two items, so verification doesn't continue.
For an actual delivery, one of them will be discarded by de-duplication
(which happens later).
