The code in that part of smtp_in.c is concerned with handling IP
options. It has special code for glibc, which does it differently to all
other OS. This code has not changed in the testing releases. Were you
able to compile the previous release?

Sounds like you could. Can you therefore do a diff between the smtp_in.c
source files in a version that works and a version that doesn't?
