my problem compiling this version still exists.
i've now tried to compile the new version on 2 more machines
with the same problem.
all of them are linux libc5 systems with different distribution.
the error is:
smtp_in.c: In function `smtp_start_session':
smtp_in.c:1175: sizeof applied to an incomplete type
smtp_in.c:1223: dereferencing pointer to incomplete type
smtp_in.c:1253: dereferencing pointer to incomplete type
other versions of exim work.
