And is supported by Exim. However, you can't use its native locking
rules (which permit shared access to mailboxes) if the file is
NFS-mounted. You can configure Exim to use MBX format, without the
special locking rules, but this may (will?) give trouble with clients
that expect to use the MBX rules.
