Trying to send with netscape and ASMTP a got this message::
2000-09-30 11:17:01 Authentication failed for ***.dialup.tiscalinet.it
(***.***.it) [62.11.*.*]: 435 Unable to authenticate at present:
missing or misplaced { or }
The auth section in exim conf is:
fixed_plain:
driver = plaintext
public_name = PLAIN
server_condition = "\
${if and {{eq{$2}{$2}}{eq{$3}
{lsearch{/home/$2/.ASMTPsecret}}}}{yes}{no}}"
(the last two lines actually only one, split by my editor)
.ASMTPsecret file contain
username:password
pairs .
Whad did i do incorrectly ???
