Our exim 2.02 has been up and running for well over a year now without problems, but just now it started to complain about:
Cannot open main log file "/usr/local/exim/logs/mainlog": Permission denied: euid=15 guid=15
I've checked about 119 times that the permissions on the log file is ok, ie rw permissions by user exim (uid 15).
Nothing has been changed on the machine, so what is going on???
