[Exim] exim 3.12 with debian 2.1

Finally I'm up and running with my upgrade to exim 3.12, but without yet having upgraded to debian 2.2

The residual problem seemed to be a break in the line for the two nameservers ip numbers msn had provided. When I switched to the four ip numbers turned up by whois, all was fine. I suspect this was also the issue when I was unable to get the earlier exim version running
