add 127.0.0.0/8 to your host_accept_relay spec in your exim config - ie
host_accept_relay = 127.0.0.0/8
and restart exim (killall -HUP exim) afterwards.
exmh/mh injects mail by SMTP to 127.0.0.1 - you need to allow that to
relay mail off your machine.
