I saw your previous message and this one at the same time. Having
spotted "transport filter" in your previous message, I was about to tell
you the answer to your problem, but you have already found it. My answer
is different: "Upgrade your Exim". There was a bug, fixed in Release
3.14:
3. Transport filters were not working for SMTP output. This has been
broken since the reorganization of release 3.033.
I'm sorry I forget to ask whether you were using a transport filter. I
guess my mind tries to blot out my memory of mistakes I've made. :-)
