Option 3 would break any private networks which use RFC1918 addresses
(like my home network). This would annoy me slightly, even though it is
trivial to fix. My vote is for number 2. Though if RFC1918 addresses
appear often enough to make option 3 best for more people, I'll just
shut up and live with adding a whole extra line to my config file. :-)
