What alias file?

Alright... Define "old" domains as your local domains. Use a
smartuser director (let's say the file is called domaindb):

domain_change:
driver = smartuser
domains = lsearch;/var/exim/domaindb
new_address = $loacl_part@$domain_data
no_more
