There is a phrase describing such a configuration. The polite version
is "terminally broken" as all the people on the UKCrypto mailing list
who were bombarded by mail looped by just such a configuration will
tell you.
Consider *very* carefully just what goes into the To: header, and what
happens regarding mailing lists, mail sent to someone else and cc-ed or
bcc-ed to you etc...
