okay, one last question on this...
in addition to allowing the pop authenticated IPs to relay (contained in the
popip.db file), the sysadmin has suggested that other domains be included in
the host_accept_relay option, as well as the local host.
is this legit? -----> host_accept_relay = localhost : \
someotherdomain.com : \
thisonetoo.com : \
blahblahblah.net : \
net-dbmnz;/some/path/popip.db

If you want IPs, use net-lsearch.
