Not exim specific, but very closely related:
Do exist some program that allow the administratot to clean the
users mailbox in /var/spool/mail from any message older than a
certain date, that is:
# /usr/sbin/sweep 2000-04-01 username1 [username2] [...]
Of course it must read the 1st received from from any message in the
inbox so if a message has been delivery late it is not cleaned.
local policy is that users must read the e-mail at least once every 2
months, so if they do not comply i can clean the directory, to make
space for other users. however it would be nice not to clean some
messages sent a few days before, that could be the one that says
"if you do not access this box within one week it will be cleaned"
Also it would allow the administrator NOT to peek into the personal
box
