[Exim] system filter

hi,
We are running exim 3.14 on RH linux.
I am trying to setup in the filters a virus blocking thingo.
It worx great, however I wish to save the email that is being rejected, but
it doen't want to.
it does log it but I need the email itself to be saved.
If I try deliver, it gets reject (for obvious reasons) save doesn't work
either.
It doesn't seem to matter whether I create the file b4 hand or let it try
to create it.
would anyone have any ideas.
