[Exim] Can anybody help a new Linus user ??

I'm new to Linux and i have been given the task of installing exim. Has anybody got any literature (apart from that on the exim.org site, which i have found not to help me much). Or any links to sites which i may find of use. Any help or advice with this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance for any clues, as I'm getting nowhere fast.
