Under windows you can use ...uhmm...i forgott the name.
I'm not the windows guru...the same email client which was
affected by the iloveyou-worm.
under unix you can use "fetchmal" with the "--ssl" parameter
[most distributions have compiled fetchmail without ssl-support...
so you have to recompile it...]
or...you can establish a ssl-tunnel and use your favourite email
client:
stunnel -r <your pop-server here>:995 -c -d 31337
...and now the user can pop his mail from localhost:31337
If anyone knows any other ssl-capable email client please
drop me a msg.
