I've got a problem with Majordomo and Exim.
When administering lists with hundreds of subscribers, it takes an absolute
age for the messages to be turned around - it looks like it's only sending
one at a time even though:
remote_max_parallel = 8
Other settings which seem relevant include:
sender_verify_max_retry_rate = 48
smtp_receive_timeout = 2m
smtp_accept_max_per_host = 30
smtp_accept_queue_per_connection = 0
smtp_accept_max = 100
smtp_connect_backlog = 50
rfc1413_query_timeout = 0s
trusted_users = majordom
auto_thaw = 8h
forbid_domain_literals
delay_warning = 30d
dns_retry=5
dns_retrans=10m
Has anyone got any thoughts please? It does seem to be falling over
resolving names...
