And, assuming your account setup procedure on your Linux box checks for an
alias with the same name before setting up an account, it makes setting up
an account with an unfortunate matching name much less likely. [Things get
messy if you set up a new account and its mail goes off to the address in a
forgotten alias, so you probably already do check.]
